MEET CHARLES M. KING THE FOUNDER

Spiritual Leader, Minister, Counselor, Mentor and Coach

Charles. M. King is an author, a mentor and a superb speaker. He was an organizational consultant for more than thirty years. He has worked with organizations in various capacities for more than fifty years: first as a military officer specializing in guided missile technology; as an instructor at the US Army's prestigious Air Defense Center and as a commanding officer and staff officer in various US Army missile commands, including the sophisticated first generation Pershing Missile System.

Following his eleven years of military service, which ended in the mid-sixties, Charles founded and managed a job training facility for disadvantaged and previously unemployable persons in Mansfield, Ohio. In this small community of 58,000 citizens, the agency was responsible for the successful placement of an annual average of one hundred persons in positions previously unavailable to minorities. This was accomplished at the height of the Civil Rights Movement. It was here that Charles came to realize the true nature and power of the human spirit. He managed the agency for three years but the agency continued its services to the community for another seventeen years. Some of the persons placed in jobs are now retired.

As Vice President of Marketing and Wholesale Sales at Warner Press Incorporated, a christian publishing company in Anderson, Indiana, Charles led a team of fifty persons to double digit growth each year during his time there.

Piecing together the experiences gained in each endeavor, Charles used them to start his own consulting company, Goald Development Systems. He led this small but highly effective company for more than thirty years. In the late nineties, the company's name was changed to the Smart Way.

Some of the client's of the company were: Americhem, Inc., Allen Bradley, Babcock & Wilcox, Barefoot Corporation, Central States Can Co., Chrysler, Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., Formtech, Gould, General Electric, General Tire, Goodrich, Goodyear Aerospace, The States of North Carolina and Ohio; Indiana Bell, and Ohio Bell, Mayville Metal Products, New York Life, Ohio Edison, USEPA, US Department of Personnel, Wake County (NC) Government, Warner & Swasey and others.

Charles King is an avid student of the mind-body-Spirit connection. After all of his years of working in leadership positions and studying this connection from a scientific, philosophical, and Spiritual perspective, he is now convinced, beyond any doubt, that individuals and organizations function far below their capabilities. Charles says, "I have seen people-employees and managers alike-literally amazed and gratified by the potential they demonstrate in their personal lives as well as in their organizations when they learn how to systematically tap into their vast Creative Spirits, and release their potential."

Once again, Charles has developed another aspect to add to his illustrious career. He now draws on his vast experiences and research to minister to and lead individuals to knowledge of Jesus and spiritually-based mastery in their lives. Through Charles's approach people are shown how to bring out the rich potential God designed into him/her.

Charles Earned his BS degree in Sociology and Psychology at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. His Masters degree in Counseling was earned at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. He studied beyond the Masters degree at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He earned certification in Guided Missile Technology, Land Surveying and Neuclear Weapons deployment while serving in the US Army. He also attended the US Army's Advanced Artillery Leadership Course for officers (A nine month course considered to be the equivalent of an MBA degree).
